Stick fetching for me today.

I’ve been fetching sticks again today.  Here I am waiting patiently for my latest stick to be thrown.  The beach was nice and quiet again today. I’m at home again now, just about to curl up for a nap.  I think I will dream about fetching sticks tonight. Hmmmmmmmmmm……….. Sticks, Sticks, Sticks, zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz.

Today it felt like Autumn.

I went a good walk today, over on to The Big Beach at Newport. The wind was howling from the North West, so it was very cold. I chased sticks like a dog possesed, just to keep myself warm.
Its really nice to get the beach back to myself now that the holidays have finished. I hate it when there are cars parked all along the beach, I wish they would use the car park.
Well, I’m pretty tired now, so I’m going to find my favorite blanket and curl up into a ball on the sofa and watch the Simpsons, I hope Santa’s Little Helper is in tonights episode.
Thanks for dropping by,

Posing for the Camera.

Here I am posing for the Camera. My good friend Noelle is a photographer and she’s always taking my picture. I have to sit very still and I’m not allowed to blink. I love having my photo taken because I always get lots of treats afterwards.

Where all my sticks go!

Here I am faithfully gathering sticks for my friends to throw.

And then later the same evening, I come back from a little jaunt around the seaweed beds to find my sticks piled high and on fire.

Sinky Sand

This is me and Jon. We are on our way back from a walk at Newport Estuary and heading for Carningli Mountain. The sand was so sinky this day, I had to really push myself to get anywhere.

One of my favorite places.

Here I am enjoying a lovely sunset at Newport Estuary. I love this beach, there are always lots of drift wood sticks to find and fetch and the seaweed smells devine. I can also find crab shells that have washed in on the tide and crunch them to my hearts content.
I come here every day for walks and sometimes the tide is in and I can swim around chasing my sticks. Best of all though is when we come and have a bonfire, I get to fetch sticks for hours and hours then. Its weird though, not all the sticks I find get thrown, I’m sure some of them are fueling the bonfire!
